How long do wax melts last?

 

Each wax melt section (one rectangle snap/shape) lasts on average around 12 to 18 hours. You should only ever burn a wax melt for 4 hours at a time, otherwise the burner itself can get too hot.

 

Will the wax melt evaporate?

 

No. The fragrance oil will disperse and begin to fade in time, but the wax will remain.

What is the easiest way to remove a wax melt from the burner?

 

Light a tea light and leave it to heat up the wax melt for around 30 to 60 seconds. The wax melt should now easily slide out in one. Wipe away any residue with a bit of kitchen roll or cotton pad before adding your new one.
